About us

The Circular Lab @ Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS), known as Stičišče za krožne rešitve, serves as a hub for companies transitioning to a circular economy in the Electrical and Electronics Equipment (EEE) sector and is offering workshops, project development support, and knowledge exchange to help businesses adopt circular practices.

The lab is integrated into CCIS’s Department for Environment, Climate Change, and Energy and is closely collaborating with other CCIS departments, such as the Electro Industry Association. The lab team is using CCIS’s extensive regional network, offering services both physically and virtually, to ensure broad outreach across Slovenia.

The lab’s goal is to facilitate the circular economy transition in the EEE sector by supporting businesses of all sizes through innovation, education, and policy advocacy. Its main goals are raising awareness, fostering stakeholder collaboration, and engaging consumers to promote sustainable practices. The lab is also aligning with national and European circular economy initiatives.

Key stakeholders include SMEs, larger companies, EEE manufacturers, and recycling companies, alongside technology start-ups and research institutions. Policymakers and civil society, particularly in vocational training, also play important roles.
